Presbyterian Church in Ireland - Mission Overseas - MALAWI: Fiona Innes launches her blogsite!

Fiona Innes, who is based in Mzuzu in Northern Malawi, has recently started a news blog called: ‘Malawi, Mission and Me!’  To date, she has made two postings, which include some photos of her new surroundings.

Since arriving in Malawi some six weeks ago, Fiona has been learning to find her way around Mzuzu and investigating where the shops and other important places, like the bank, are to be found.

She says, “I have had the chance to visit some of the very beautiful countryside in the Northern Region.”

She has also been attempting to learn Tumbuka and has language lessons twice a week with a local teacher.

“It is so much more difficult to learn as an adult but I try my best and now can at least greet the people I meet around me.”
